Our gratitude to the parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty, board members, and friends who gave generously to the Marin Waldorf School Community Fund on Giving Tuesday 2024. With your support, MWS can continue to provide a rich and meaningful education to our students and their families, today and in the years to come.

You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.
— Jane Goodall

At Marin Waldorf School, children know that what they do matters. As educators, we strive to model kindness, generosity, and compassion, and to show children, through words and action, what it means to be a community.

We all have an impact. Philanthropy is one way. The results of last year’s Community Fund exceeded previous years: 100% of board members contributed, 75% of current parents donated, and our campaign raised $149,000. This year, we’re doubling our goal to $200,000, with the aim to expand our STEAM and biodynamic gardening programs.

Through a charitable contribution to the 2024-2025 Community Fund, you will have a direct impact on the educational experience at Marin Waldorf School. Give today.

Community Fund: A Shared Purpose

The MWS Community Fund helps the school meet day-to-day operating expenses not covered by tuition. Donations to the MWS Community Fund support every aspect of Marin Waldorf School’s programming and facilities, from our skilled faculty, robust educational programs, and parent workshops to our 10-acre campus and wide-reaching financial aid and scholarship program.

We encourage all members of our school community to make a gift to the Community Fund, in an amount that is personally significant to them. This amount is different for every member of our community, and we honor that diversity.

Gifts to nonprofit organizations like Marin Waldorf School entitle donors to charitable income tax deductions, subject to IRS regulations.  If you need copies of your tax gift information for a specific year, please email development@marinwaldorf.org.
